The aftermarket AquaFresh WF293 filter is used in refrigerators by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air and others. It is designed to replace the Whirlpool # 4396701 filter. The WF293 creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice.

This filter does not fit and leaks tremendously! I didn't realize the leaking was from the filter at first, so I thought there was a problem with my refrigerator. Once I realized it was the filter, it had leaked so much that my kitchen floor is now buckled and warped! After I realized it was the filter, I compared it to the factory filter I had replaced it with, and the 2 are not even close to each other. I wish I had compared this to the original before I tried to use it because even a glancing comparison shows obvious differences between this filter and the factory one. DO NOT BUY THIS FILTER FOR A WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATOR!
