When I put the new filter in and drank my first glass of water, I just new I didn't have to go out and get bottled water anymore. The water taste great! Plus I noticed I had the water line kinked at 90 degrees so the volume just wasn't there. Replaced the water line and placed it straight as it's supposed to be and it's just fantastic now. Water taste and volume is awesome. I will be purchasing more in 6 months as recommended.

It appears to be everything advertised but without having the water tested, I have no way of knowing that the water has been properly filtered. I've seen some negative reviews so I am skeptical. The water seems to taste OK.

Great price, easy to install, but missing is information on the quality/lifespan/effectiveness of the filtration media, which is likely activated carbon. The wetted filter weighs a lot less than the one I removed, so I am left to wonder if it is actually doing what I bought it to do.
