Culligan RC-EZ-4 Replacement Water Filter - Highest level of filtration and also addresses chloramines!
The Culligan Replacement Filter RC-EZ-4 is an Original Culligan replacement filter used in the following Culligan Undersink, Ice Maker / Refrigerator systems: US-EZ-1, US-EZ-3, US-EZ-4, IC-EZ-1, IC-EZ-3, IC-EZ-4, RV-EZ-3.
The RC-EZ-4 filter cartridge can replace the RC-EZ-1 and RC-EZ-3 filter cartridges. It removes more contaminants than both of these filters, but has a lower filter life than the RC-EZ-1.
The Culligan RC-EZ-4 Replacement Filter boasts Culligan's premium filtration (Level 4). Twist it into any of the Culligan IC-EZ Refrigerator filters, and this cartridge removes bad tastes, odors and Chlorine. The RC-EZ-4 will also remove sediment, turbidity, lead, mercury, VOCs, MTBE, cysts such as cryptosporidium and giardia. In additon, the RC-EZ-4 will filter out Chloramines from your water. Most municipal water supplies are using Chloramines as an additional disinfectant with Chlorine. To remove Chloramine, you need a genuine Chloramine filter. A typical carbon filter that filters Chlorine from your water will not remove Chloramines in your water.
