Comments about Everpure P1 10" Poly Spun Bonded Sediment Filter 1 Micron:

I use this filter as a great cheap replacement. Unfiltered my water has so much sediment that it is brown in color. Forget about getting in a tub full of that. I tried 5 micron filters and I still had a little sediment, not enough to show discoloration, but you could see it on dishes in the dishwasher. Switching to this 1 micron filter worked perfectly. I do have to change filters every 2-3 months but that's due to my bad water not the filter.
