Easy to remove/install with only a drop or two of water lost when removing. Wish you could rinse the charcoal before use. We only have an icemaker in refrigerator so have to throw out first few batches of ice until clear. More expensive than they should be.

Product easy to install, however, needed a pliers to remove old filter. It was easy to do though. Once you ran a gallon and a half of water through the new filter, it's ready for drinking. Very easy.
