DIY Whole House Filter Kit - 20" Valve-In-Head Slim Housing

Everything you need to create a whole house water filtration system.  A whole house system improves the quality of the water that enters your home by reducing impurities, sediment, rust, dirt, and scale.   The reduction of these contaminants provides better water for drinking and bathing and extends the life of devices like washing machines, water heaters, and other household appliances that use water.

System includes:

(1) 20" Slim Filter Housing with 3/4" NPT, built-in shut-off valve.  Standard-sized 20" housing will accept most standard 20" X 2.5" filter cartridges
(1) Mounting Bracket (hardware included) - the U-shaped bracket you need to attach the housing to the wall close to your water main
(1) 5 micron Dual Gradient Sediment Cartrige (Pentek EC210) - High dirt-holding capacity and superior sediment filtration
(1) Filter Sump wrench - makes it easy to loosen filter sump when changing filter
(2) SharkBite U134 Male Straight Connector 3/4" x 3/4" MNPT - push in connectors for inlet-outlet of housing

Items not included that you may need for installation:
Teflon tape - wrap all threads with tape to prevent leaks
Replacement O-Ring for housing
