The High-Output Shower Filter (HO) contains a reversible filter cartridge that will filtere the shower water for one year. This high performance shower filter combines easy operation and maintenance with the ultimate in structural integrity and over-all reliability. The HO is the strongest replaceable shower filter available on the market today.
Attach to your favorite existing shower head (shower head not included)
Cartridge Life Rating: 1 Year
Large cartridge holds 500% more KDF-55 ® and Chlorgon ® than other Sprite models
Removes 99% of chlorine from your shower water
Removes chlorine across a wide range of shower temperatures by combining KDF-55 and Chlorgon
Extend the shower filter cartridge's effective life by reversing the direction of water flow every three to six months
Certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 177 for shower filtration systems, with 75% chlorine removal after 10,000 gallons of usage
Easy Installation: 1). Remove the existing shower head 2). Screw on the Sprite shower filter and reattach old shower head 3). Run hot water through the filter for 5 minutes to flush the new cartridge

My nutritionist said I was getting too much chlorine in my body from showering in our heavily chlorinated water. We researched shower filters and wisely chose Sprite. Because we didn't have a lab to analyze the chlorine content after the Sprite was installed, we used the "taste test," drinking some unfiltered water, then water run through the Sprite. Big difference; there was almost no taste of chlorine. My doctor is happy and I am, too.

We enjoy having a shower now. Our water is so hard that it dried out your skin. It adds moisture and softness. It now is an enjoyable experience. If you are in a hard water area this is a must buy. It is very easy to install and service. On a rating scale this is a five star product.

I have not seen any comments on the fact that this filter weighs about 3 lbs! We were concerned that this could have an adverse affect on the clips that hold the water pipe to the studs in the wall. Seems kinda heavy to put up there? We returned it before we even used it. We plan to try the white plastic version which seems a little lighter.

I've been using it for 4 month now with a full satisfaction: I suffer with a skin condition, with use of this filter it improved; I no longer smell chlorine in the shower; all without noticeable decrease in water pressure; no leaks/cracks.

O ring was challenging to seat. It crimped when I first assembled filter. Had to lubricate it. Housing screw threads could be improved.
