This WaterSentinel refrigerator water filter contains a compressed carbon block which provides tremendous capacity to remove and/or reduce impurities and sediment that may be pres ent in drinking water. T he carbon block has millions of active sites on its surface and within its s tructure which can absorb impurities like a sponge, and it can hold other types of impurities on its s urface like a magnet.   Additionally this filter can catalytically breakdown other impurities very similar to the way a catalytic converter works in your automobile. T hes e proces s es ensure that you are getting the cleanest and best tasting water possible. This economical filter provides fresh and clean tas ting water and ice cubes.

The Whirlpool UltraEase WHKF-R-PLUS, WHCF-R-PLUS filter is the replacement filter cartridge for Whirlpool Inline Filtration  Systems WHCF-IMTOS and WHCF-IMPLUS.  Also known as WHKFR Plus, WHCFR-Plus, 56932, W10185590, and Whirlpool Ultra-Ease Replacement Filter. The WHCF-R-Plus has recently gone through a part number change and packaging update. The new part number is WHKF-R-PLUS. These two part numbers represent the exact same filter. Dimensions: 8 1/8" x 2 3/16" Also replaces the Cuno OCS CS52 Water Filter Cuno part #s 55866-05, 55866-06, CS-51, CS-522.

Installation Instructions:

• Push the button at the top of the filter case and remove the case from the compartment
• Twist the old filter a quarter-turn counterclockwise
• Pull the filter straight out and discard
• Remove the protective cap from the new filter
• Push the new filter into the fridge until it stops
• Twist the new filter a quarter-turn clockwise
• Replace the filter case back into the compartment
• Reconnect the refrigerator water supply and plug the refrigerator back in
