If your ice cubes are hollow, like mine were, you need a new filter!
Installation is relatively easy, no tools required. However, it took me a few tried to install the filter; it has to be lined up perfectly against the fitting in the fridge.
Service and delivery comments:
I ordered the wrong filter the first time, foolishly thinking that Whirlpool would only use one filter design. But NT Supply gave me a prompt refund, and I was able to get the right one. Check your filter part number before ordering - you may need a magnifying glass to do it.
