The factory original Samsung Aqua-Pure Plus Water Filter (DA29-00003F) is used in refrigerators by Samsung, Kenmore and others. The DA29-00003F filter creates better tasting water for drinking and making beverages as well as clean, clearer, healthy ice. This filter replaces models DA29-00003A, DA29-00003B, DA29-00003G.

Tried a replacement water filter that was less expensive and readily available locally. It was plain awful - just like our heavily chlorinated tap water. Quickly ordered the Samsung Aqua-Pure after trying to let the filter "settle" to no avail after 2 weeks, and right after the "throw away water" upon installation of an new filter, the water tasted clean and wonderful again.
